How can I prepare my IPv4 subnet for sale?
First of all, please check if your IPv4 subnet can be transferrable or not. As example, there’s a two years transfer restriction from the last transfer/allocation date for subnets allocated by RIPE NCC.
Secondly, you need to check if all the annual RIR fees are paid.
There’re much more recommendations, so we prepared a separate article on it. You can read more about our recommendations regarding IPv4 addresses before the IPv4 transfer here

I’m a seller and would like to sell IPv4 addresses. What expenses will I have? What is your IPv4 transfer brokerage fee?
The sole expenses for IPv4 sellers are annual RIR membership fee and (for several RIRs) a transfer fee in the amount the RIR applies. Our services are fully free for IPv4 sellers. Moreover, by default, the escrow.com fee is paid by Buyer. For subnets larger than /18, sometimes the escrow.com fee can be splitted.
What is escrow.com?
Escrow.com is a secure, well-known worldwide escrow online-platform which is used to secure transactions on IPv4 transfers. Most sellers and buyers prefer to work with escrow.com and it’s too difficult to find a party through another escrow platform. Therefore, we don’t consider other escrow platforms to secure IPv4 transfers.
What if my country is not supported by escrow.com?
If you sell or buy an IPv4 subnet larger than /22, you shall have a company or a bank account in other country to proceed with an IPv4 transfer. For IPv4 networks equal or smaller than /22, please contact us by email: info@voldeta.com, and we’ll try to find a solution.

I’m a buyer of IPv4 addresses, what is your brokerage fee?
Our IPv4 brokerage commission is included to the price we offered you and can be from 0,5 to 3 EUR per IP-address, which is always less than 10%. Please note that the escrow.com fee is mostly paid by buyer (the exception can be made for subnets larger than /18)
Is it possible to cancel an IPv4 transfer after the transfer has been completed?
No, it’s not possible. The exception can be made under the decision of a court.
How can you guarantee we receive payment after the IP transfer?
We use escrow.com to secure the transaction. The buyer sends payment to escrow.com, then escrow.com confirms the receipt and then the seller makes an IPv4 transfer. The terms of the contract have a strict definition when a subnet is considered to be transferred, so, after the IPv4 transfer there’s no doubt if the transfer has been completed or not to release payment to you.
How long does the IPv4 transfer take?
After the payment is secured by escrow.com and an IPv4 transfer ticket is submitted, the IPv4 transfer can take from 2 days (small subnet, everything is paid, subnet is not announced, the IPv4 transfer is made within one RIR) up to several weeks (Large subnets equal or larger than /16 / additional documents were requested by RIR – a transfer within one RIR) or several months (Inter-RIR transfers. As example, LACNIC-RIPE IPv4 network transfer can take 4-6 months).
