The RIPE NCC requires LIRs to keep the information on assignments up-to-date, that’s why we collect the following information to create the assignment for our customer:
For inetnum object
- netname
It could be your company or project name
- nic-hdl of the administrative contact
- nic-hdl of the technical contact
- nic-hdl of the abuse contact
- org object
- mnt
We add your org-mntner to the mnt-domains field in the inetnum object to give you the right to create domain objects for the reverse delegation.
- country of use
Initially the subnet doesn’t belong to any country. We have to choose the country of use while creating the inetnum object.
