Voldeta: Our History

Foundation and Early Growth

Voldeta was established in October 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania. In February 2020, a team of experts with extensive experience in internet resource management and IPv4 transfers fully acquired the company, setting the stage for rapid development.

First Milestones and Expansion

By June 2020, Voldeta had already built a reputation as a trusted IPv4 transfer broker, offering comprehensive IP address leasing and transfer services across several European countries. By August 2020, the team expanded to five members, providing services in the EU, UK, Africa, and the US. The company’s offerings included IPv4 brokerage, LIR registration and management, internet resource support, and IPv4/IPv6 leasing.

Global Reach and Major Achievements

In October 2020, Voldeta began serving clients in Asia and the Middle East. By the end of the year, the company provided services in 14 countries, achieving a turnover of €138,685. Expansion continued in 2021, with new markets in India, Georgia, and Turkey. In June 2021, Voldeta facilitated its first IPv4 /16 subnet transfer, equivalent to 65,536 IP addresses.

Brand Strengthening and Strategic Partnerships

In October 2021, we applied for an EUIPO trademark registration. A month later, new partnerships were established with firms in the US, Canada, Singapore, Germany, the Philippines, and China. By December 2021, Voldeta had clients and partners in over 35 countries across four continents, successfully conducting IPv4 transfers within RIPE, ARIN, and APNIC regions.

Innovation and Sustainable Growth

April 2022 marked the launch of IPv6.market, the first automated platform for IPv6 transactions. In March 2023, Giulia Potikha joined the management team to enhance client relations and engagement. A month later, Voldeta introduced a YouTube series, “IP Market 101 – IPv4 Basics in One Minute”, to provide useful information about the IPv4 market.

Achievements and the Road Ahead

By July 2023, Voldeta expanded srvices provision to Australia, Indonesia, and Japan. In December 2023, the company surpassed €3 million in annual revenue, solidifying its position as a leading player in the IPv4 brokerage and internet resource management industry in the European Union.

Today, Voldeta continues to grow, offering cutting-edge solutions and expanding its global reach, shaping the future of IP asset management and network infrastructure.
